Their behavior and the way they carry themselves have improved.
This is the result of the teachers' genuine and sincere love in teaching the students.
The lotus flower represents Tzu Chi and Buddhism because Buddhism uses the lotus flower as a symbol.
Every time I come here the elementary students will give me a tour of the school.
Last year, a girl explained to me the picture designs on the railings.
She also explained to me the stories behind each picture.
This year a group of boys gave the tour.
They were like our adult Tzu Cheng members.
One said that they have to be very gentle when holding my hand and mustn't hold it too tightly.
(as if I were very fragile)
He was so thoughtful and careful.
Don't hold it too tightly.
He also said to the people in front of him and next to him.
"Please make way"
This is a phrase that I often hear our Tzu Cheng members say
(And this boy has learned to do the same)because be has made the wish to become.

That's why he was very mindful and told people to clear a path for me.
He also instructed another person to help clear a walkway for me.
Look at the way he conducted the tour and the way he tried to protect me.
He was really mindful and attentive.

We sit here and go over there to choose the books that we want to read.

We should think of the future and realize that if we only take good care of our children and only teach our own children well while all the other children go bad.

Therefore if teachers can teach and take good care of other people's children it will benefit their own children by creating a better future society.

In today's
(The reason we've opened a school of our own)is because we seek a higher standard of education.
So, we've built a school and we invite all people who share our vision to join us---
People who are truly dedicated to the cause of education who approach it with a sense of mission.
We hope that teachers who are passionate about education can join us in working toward making our school into a model school.
I really hope that our school can also influence other teachers and schools so that all educators can have higher ideals toward education and we can restore the tradition of respect for teachers and what they teach.

Faculty and staff in our schools, we need to establish, our unique way of education of teaching students with love out of our commitment to the cause of education.

Education is the future of society.
So, we need to provide true, quality education.
